About Me
Hi, my name is Alex Khabbaz and I am the co-founder and Managing Partner of Texas Business Brokers. Since the age of 13, I have been starting and selling businesses. People close to me know me as a Serial Entrepreneur. I’ve founded and started many companies, such as Texas Business Brokers, Rainboxx, Austex Sprinklers, Austex Windows, Checkmark Financial, and Sprinkler Medics of Austin. Some of these businesses have succeeded with successful exits and others never took off.
I’ve done everything from raising funds to inventing a wire-free acoustic irrigation valve to owning and selling an eCommerce Apparel company. My experience is vast and I am industry agnostic. My most vital attribute is my passion of being progressive in business and finding new ways to improve and think outside the box. I also apply this personally as a father, husband, and mentor.
After selling my irrigation company, it became clear to me that my passion was not only operating and running businesses but to help others and to share my knowledge.
This led me to reach out to the business broker who sold my business, Mike Feinman. He owned Retail Growth Associates, a business brokerage firm and consulting firm. I shared my vision of where I thought the brokerage industry could go, and he was on board, adding many great ideas. From there, we started locally in Austin as Central Texas Business Brokers and have since grown the business to include offices in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
Since then, we have helped many business owners. Our success is attributed to many factors. One being our commitment to our clients. We always do everything humanly possible to ensure our client’s satisfaction, be available 24/7, and provide honest and accurate advice. When we present things, we give the pros and cons of every situation and support our clients in their decisions. We genuinely want what is best for them.
