If I could give ten stars I would they are Exceptional!As a small business owner, it's hard to navigate all the moving parts and to know who to trust when wanting to sell your business. It's so personal, and in a time of need, you feel incredibly vulnerable. We invest not only our life savings but also our blood, sweat, and tears.I was referred to Alex by a neighbor who consulted him at the start of his business. After meeting Alex, I learned that he had owned his own company, which he started from the ground up, built, and sold. Now, he has his hands in multiple businesses. His sharing of his story helped me feel comfortable about listing mine with him.I had some unfortunate things happen rather quickly, which left me in a rush to sell. My experience working with Alex was so easy, and I immediately felt comfortable. He is confident, quickly responsive (which is important because you know how lawyers and brokers can be), and, most importantly, he has a huge network of qualified buyers to pull from and send my way.Alex shoots straight, though. He told me upfront that salons are difficult businesses to sell because you can't guarantee staff staying with the sale. I called Texas Business Brokers to discuss the possibility of using the services to value a small business I am considering purchasing. (It's time to start my 2nd career after 25+years as a project manager in commercial construction.) My potential purchase is too small for Mike's services to be economically feasible BUT.....Mike took 45 minutes of his Friday to walk me through the process of valuing a business, from both buyer and seller positions. He provided quick ballpark estimates of asking and offer prices, using information I had obtained from the seller.Mike also told me to get another report that would include information to produce a more accurate estimate of the business's value, from which I could determine a reasonable purchase offer. For health reasons I decided the best thing for me to do was to sell my roofing & remodeling business after 40 yrs. I know my business but I had no idea how to sell one, so like every other modern day American, I googled it. CAN THIS BE A CONFIDENTIAL TRANSACTION?

Yes, all of our business listed for sale are done in a confidential manner.

We require every prospective buyer to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which contains clauses mandating the confidentiality of all acquired information.

In addition, prospective buyers must complete a Buyer Qualification form and a Disclosure Notice of Agency Relationship before any confidential information is disclosed.

If any of these forms are not completed or if the buyer does not appear qualified to successfully purchase the business, we will not release any information.
